Saturday’s taped AEW Collision Maximum Carnage 2026 show featured Zayda Steel competing in a singles match against Marina Shafir, which was Steel’s official debut match in AEW.
Following her match, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that Steel recently signed an official contract with AEW.

Prior to her signing, Steel had made several appearances for AEW and ROH since this past December. Steel previously worked in WWE as a WWE ID talent from November of 2024 until her departure this past October.
