This past Thursday’s ROH TV show featured matches that were taped from Australia as part of AEW’s two-day tour of the country that took place last weekend. Among the matches that took place included a singles match between Mina Shirakawa and Australian indies talent Charli Evans, which was won by Shirawkawa.
Evans also competed in a tag team match at AEW’s House Rules Australia show the following night. Evans teamed up with Kyla Knight against The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor), which was won by The Brawling Birds.
Evans’ making her official debut appearance for ROH and her competing at AEW and ROH shows that weekend quickly led to online speculation and rumors of her possibly signing a deal with AEW.
Fightful Select reported that their sources within AEW stated that Evans has not been signed to an official contract with the company despite her recent debut appearance for ROH.
