As noted before, this past Thursday’s TNA Impact! show on AMC and Sportsnet 360 featured Steve Maclin being revealed to have been the holder of the Fired briefcase from the Feast or Fired match on the January 22nd episode of TNA Impact!.
Figthful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources within TNA stated that they currently believe that Maclin getting the fired briefcase was due to him legitimately leaving the company.
Sapp reported that it has yet to be confirmed if Maclin getting the fired briefcase was meant to be a shoot or work but Maclin has been “tight lipped” about the situation.
Maclin is believed to have signed a new short-term contract extension with TNA this past January but the exact date of its expiration is still currently not known.
