A recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Live podcast featured Rocky Romero as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Romero revealing that he recently signed a new contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling to remain with the company for the foreseeable future.
“I just re-signed with New Japan. I’m still working at CMLL. I took a little break. Going back and forth was killing me a little bit. I took a little break, but I should be back in the next couple of months.”
Romero has been working for NJPW since 2010 as both a talent and executive. Besides NJPW, Romero has also been with CMLL since August of 2022 as a talent and with AEW since May of 2021 as a talent and executive.
