British Bulldog’s WWE Hall of Fame Ring Belonging to Davey Boy Smith Jr. Was Stolen in Robbery Incident in Canada

The Canadian Wrestling Elite promotion announced on Facebook that they were the victims of a recent break-in theft incident at a hotel where the company was staying in Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada.

The company stated that they held an event this past Tuesday in the city as part of their 17th Anniversary tour and they discovered on the morning of Wednesday that they were the victims of a break-in theft.

It was announced that multiple items were stolen including a travel bag belonging to former WWE wrestler Davey Boy Smith Jr., who was working for the company this week. It was also stated that this travel bag contained Smith Jr.’s wrestling gear and his late father Davey Boy Smith’s WWE Hall of Fame ring.

Need help from my friends and followers in the Lloydminster area….
The CWE crew who performed last night were the victims of a break in at their hotel.
Sometime early this morning someone broke into their trailer and stole the following items:
– “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith Jr.’s Wrestling Gear & Travel Bag
– Hart Foundation Leather Vest
– British Bulldog Hall Of Fame Ring
– Gold Chain & Jewelry
– CWE Tag Team Championship Belt
RCMP have been called.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

The Inoki Genki Factory held a recent press conference in Japan announcing that they are currently working on the creation of an Antonio Inoki human-like robot using artificial intelligence. It was also announced that they current have plans for it to be released in time of the late Inoki’s birthday on February 20, 2027. It was also announced that this project is a collaboration between Inoki Genki Factory, AVITA, and SMBC Value Creation. It was also announced that aim of the project is to preserve Inoki’s legacy in an interactive format for future generations and educational purposes.

Wednesday’s CMLL Informa show featured the official announcement of Keyra and Hija de Gatubela (former Sexy Star II) will be making their official in-ring debut for the company at their Women’s Day 2026 event on March 6th in Mexico City, Mexico. It was announced that Keyra & Gatubela will be teaming up together in a tag team match against La Catalina & Sanely at the event.

CMLL recently announced two new matches for the card of this Friday’s Super Viernes event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico:

Capcom recently released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Kenny Omega doing motion capture work for the Alex character in their Street Fighter 6 video game.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that they will be holding their debut event in Tennessee for a MLW Fusion taping on May 9th in at The Signal in Chattanooga. Tickets for this upcoming show was announced to officially go on sale starting on March 4th.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced that The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) and GOA (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) will be making an appearance for the company at their co-promoted ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada event on March 27th in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

This past Tuesday’s NJPW x CMLL Fantasticamania 2026 event in Oska, Japan featured Mistico & Mascara Dorada defeating Averno & Magnus in the Finals of the Fantasicamania Tag Team Tournament to become the winners of this year’s tournament.

The Atlanta Hawks recently shared a photo on Twitter from WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan of his first ever NFL paycheck from the team in 1977 during his short-lived NFL career.
