Brie Bella Reportedly To Be Back In WWE For Time Being
As noted before, Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia featured WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella making a surprise return appearance as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that his sources stated that Bella’s return was not a one-night thing and instead she is going to be back in WWE for at least the time being.
Bella confirmed on Instagram that she is back in the WWE for the foreseeable future and stated that The Bella Twins are back together in WWE.
“I can’t even express the gratitude I’m feeling right now,” she wrote. “It’s been a journey to get here but I’m back and it feels good!!! Love you Bella Army for always standing with your girl and thank you Riyadh for the very warm welcome, your chants and love meant everything. BRIEMODE IS ACTIVATED. And the Bella Twins are back!!!! YES! YES! YES!”
WWE Reportedly Scrapped Plans for Kit Wilson & Aleister Black To Compete in Men’s Royal Rumble Match
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials had talks prior to Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2026 event about Kit Wilson to be one of the potential entrants for the Men’s Royal Rumble match. It was reported that WWE’s officials made the decision to not use him for the match in the end.
Besides Wilson, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated WWE officials reportedly also had plans at one point for Aleister Black to be an entrant for the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
WWE reportedly flew in Black to Saudi Arabia but made the decision to not use him for the Royal Rumble event. Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials wanted to bring Black back to WWE programming in a different way instead of just as another entry into the Rumble match.
Liv Morgan Comments on Her 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble Victory
As noted before, Saturday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2026 event in Saudi Arabia featured Liv Morgan being the winner of this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.
A recent episode of the WWE Rumble Recap podcast featured Morgan as one of the guests. One of the topics discussed included Morgan’s thoughts about her winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match for the first time in her WWE career.
“Words can’t describe. Words can’t describe how it feels. I’ve done nine of these. I’ve had every position in this match. I’ve started it. I’ve ended it. I’ve had the record for the fastest elimination. I’ve shared a record for being in the ring the longest. I’ve had every position. Runner-up, but never a winner until tonight. So it feels exactly like how I thought it would.”
Morgan also gave her thoughts about how she had envisioned winning the Women’s Royal Rumble since her first time competing in the match in 2018.
“My very first one, nine years ago. No joke. Maybe I was a little bit delusional thinking that in my rookie year, I’d win the Royal Rumble. But for nine whole years, every time it’s Rumble season, I’ve sat and envisioned and manifested what this victory would look and feel and taste like, and now that we’re here, it’s honestly so much better and sweeter than I could have ever imagined.”
