David Finlay Makes Surprise Appearance & Reunites with The Dogs

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas featured NJPW talent David Finlay making a surprise appearance.

Following Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin’s victory over The Dogs (Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors), Finlay ran out and attacked Cassidy and Allin from behind. This led to Kidd and Connors joining in on the attack and the group laying out both Cassidy and Allin. The three then posed together revealing Finlay rejoining with his War Dogs buddies from NJPW.


The IInspiration Makes Dynamite In-Ring Debut & Loses to The Brawling Birds

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured The IInspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee) making their official Dynamite brand in-ring debuts.

The IInspiration competed in a tag team match against The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor), which was won by The Brawling Birds in a quick one-sided squash match.

This was The IInspiration’s second match in AEW, following their official debut at this past February’s Grand Slam Australia 2026 show.


Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland Set for AEW Revolution 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured one new match announced for the card of Revolution 2026, which takes place on which takes place on March 15th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was a singles match of Brody King vs. Swerve Strickland.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over King and Strickland’s bad blood issues and King issuing a challenge to Strickland to find out who really is AEW’s “most dangerous man.” During tonight’s show, King came out to the ring and called out Strickland. This led to Prince Nana showing up and after some insults, he introduced Strickland and looked at the entrance way waving him to come out. This turned out to be a ruse and Strickland came out from the crowd and attacked King with a chain. Strickland proceeded to choke out King with a hanging chain from the ropes and after some insults, he accepted King’s challenge for Revolution.

It was announced later in the show that this match was made official for Revolution.

Don Callis Family Wins AEW Trios Titles

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Kyle Fletcher, & Kazuchika Okada) defeating Jet Set Rodeo (Kevin Knight, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, & Hangman Adam Page) to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.

This was the Don Callis Family’s first-ever AEW World Trios Championship victory in their AEW careers.
