Roderick Strong Fakes Helping The Dogs Only To Reunite with Orange Cassidy Instead
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, California featured Roderick Strong teasing aligning with The Dogs only to reunite with Orange Cassidy instead.
Strong had teased being done with The Conglomeration over recent months shows over his rift with Cassidy and him saying he was never an actual member of the group despite helping them and Kyle O’Reilly. During tonight’s show, The Dogs’ Gabe Kidd & David Finlay picked up the victory over Cassidy & Darby Allin after some interference help by Clark Connors. Following the match, The Dogs’ attacked Cassidy & Allin and called for someone to come out to help finish off Cassidy. This led to Strong coming out to the ring and motioned for Finlay to give Cassidy to him so that he could finish him off teasing he’s aligned with them. This turned out to be a ruse and Strong sent Cassidy into Finlay instead and attacked Kidd. This led to Allin joining in and helped clear the ring of The Dogs. Strong and Cassidy then gave a high five to each other and reunited together.
