Luchasaurus Makes Surprise Return
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California featured Luchasaurus making a surprise return appearance.
During the ring introductions for the 21-Man Battle Royale match for the AEW National Championship on the Zero Hour pre-show, a video was shown on the big screen showing a bus arriving at the venue. This bus was revealed to be driven by Luchasaurus who had his shoulder and ribs all bandaged up. Luchasaurus opened the bus door and Jungle Jack Perry came out for his entrance for the match.

This was Luchasaurus’ first appearance since this past December due to a shoulder injury.
Jungle Jack Perry Wins AEW National Title
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured Jungle Jack Perry winning the 21-Man Battle Royale match for the AEW National Championship to become the new champion.
This match featured Perry, Rocky Romero, Trent Beretta, Dralistico, RUSH, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, Scorpio Sky, Daniel Garcia, Anthony Bowens, Katsuyori Shibata, Tommaso Ciampa, Dalton Castle, El Clon, The Beast Mortos, AR Fox, Lio Rush, Komander, Johnny TV, and Ricochet.

This was Perry’s first ever AEW National Championship victory in his AEW career.
Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Makes Surprise Returns
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured Adam Copeland and Christian Cage making their surprise returns to AEW.
Following FTR’s (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) victory over The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship, their victory celebration was cut short by the lights going out. This led to a video playing on the big screen and Copeland’s music playing. Copeland came out to the stage and was followed by Cage’s music playing and him coming out to be alongside him.

Copeland and Cage then made their way down to the ring and brawled with FTR and Stokely Hathaway laying all three out.

Copeland and Cage grabbed the AEW World Tag titles and held it up as FTR and Hathaway looked on from the ramp way. The Young Bucks then got into the ring and stared down Copeland & Cage leading to Copeland placing the belts in the middle of the ring.

This was Copeland and Cage’s first appearance since September of 2025.
Ronda Rousey Makes Surprise Appearance & Calls Out “Timeless” Toni Storm
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured former MMA fighter and WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey making a surprise appearance.
Following “Timeless” Toni Storm’s victory over Marina Shafir in an Everyone Banned From Ringside match, Storm celebrated her victory on the ramp leading to Rousey coming out from the crowd and stared down Storm calling her out. This led to Storm making her way back to the ring but before anything could happen, AEW security and officials swarmed the ring to separate the two. This led to Shafir striking Storm while she was not looking and her and Shafir left together to the back as the Death Riders music played and Jon Moxley came out from the crowd for his match.

Will Ospreay Makes Surprise Return
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured Will Ospreay making his surprise return from injury.
Following Jon Moxley’s victory over Konosuke Takeshita in a No Time Limit match to retain the AEW Continental Championship, the rest of the Death Riders came out from the crowd to celebrate as Moxley and Takeshita shook hands in a sign of respect. After Takeshita left the ring, the lights went out and a video aired on the big screen revealing Ospreay compelting his recovery from his neck injury in a medical room. Ospreay’s music played and made his way out to the ring.

This led to a brawl breaking out between Ospreay, Moxley, and the Death Riders that led to Ospreay clearing the ring of them all as part of his revenge for them putting him on the shelf.

This was Ospreay’s first appearance since this past August’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event due to a neck injury and surgery.
Divine Dominion Wins AEW Women’s Tag Titles
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured The Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) defeating Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) to become the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.
