Kenny Omega Appears & Saves Brody King From Swerve Strickland’s Cinder Block Attack
Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California featured Kenny Omega making a surprise appearance.
Following Swerve Strickland’s victory over Brody King in a singles match, Prince Nana grabbed a cinder block from under the ring mat and placed it in the ring. As Strickland was preparing to hit a Swerve Stomp to King’s head onto the block, Omega’s music played and he rushed out to the ring. This led to Strickland and Nana quickly escaping to safety.

This was Omega’s first appearance since the February 18th AEW Dynamite show following Strickland’s attack on him and “injuring” him in the process. Omega’s status for Revolution had been in doubt due to his commitments with Capcom for this year’s Capcom Cup event taking place in Japan over this past week that ended on the same day as AEW’s event.

Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event also featured CMLL talent Mistico & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) defeating Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Kyle Fletcher, & Kazuchika Okada) to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.
