A recent virtual fan signing event for K & S WrestleFest featured Tommaso Ciampa as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Ciampa’s thoughts about his current plans to evolve his character in AEW and him being hopeful to finish his wrestling career in AEW.

“So far, I like it a lot. I love the start. There’s a lot of fun things I have in the works and ways to evolve the character and just gotta be patient (and) let that all play out but, we’re on to some good stuff. There’s some really cool plans in the works.

I’m hoping that I get to ride into the sunset with AEW to be honest with you. I really like it there. They treat my family extremely well, and my little one is having a blast…”

Bandido Reportedly Dealing with Work Visa Issue

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that his sources stated that ROH World Champion Bandido is currently dealing with a work visa-related issue.

Meltzer reported that this visa issue has already caused Bandido to miss some of his non-AEW scheduled bookings.

In regards to his current work status in AEW, Meltzer reported that President Trump had granted this past January a number of sports leagues exemptions from needing visas for its performers to come into the country. Those included on the list reportedly included AEW, UFC, and WWE. Meltzer speculated that this would seem to mean that Bandido would be okay to work in AEW.

Meltzer also reported that even if there is an issue, athletes and entertainers can still perform in Canada without visas which would allow Bandido to be avaliable for AEW’s upcoming television shows in Edmonton and Winnipeg and Dynasty 2026 event in Vancouver.

AEW Reportedly Made Several Plans Changes After “Timeless” Toni Storm Injuries

As noted before, “Timeless” Toni Storm is currently out of action for AEW due to her recently suffering undisclosed injuries. Storm is currently believed to not be expected to wrestle again in 2026 due to her injury situation.

Figthful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW officials currently do not have any immediate creative plans in place for Storm to return to the ring any time soon. AEW officials reportedly do have a storyline direction mapped out stemming from the angle involving her mystery attacker.

It was reported that Storm’s current injury situation has already led to a number of creative plans involving her for the near future were adjusted following her injury.

In regards to Ronda Rousey’s AEW status and involvement with Storm, those spoken to within AEW have not indicated that she is officially signed nor has there been any confirmation regarding her making additional appearances for the company at the time. It was reported that AEW has left the door open for Rousey to potentially return in the future if the opportunity presents itself.
