Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas featured Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin defeating The Dogs (Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors) in a tag team match.
This match was notable for NJPW talent David Finlay making a surprise appearance and attacked Cassidy and Allin. This led to Kidd and Connors joining in on the attack and Finlay reuniting with his buddies from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Following the match and Finlay’s surprise appearance, AEW CEO Tony Khan announced on Twitter that The Dogs’ Kidd, Connors, and Finlay have recently signed official contracts with AEW.
They made their presence known on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite tonight, and now it’s official:

Prior to their signings, Kidd has made several appearances for AEW since June of 2024, Connors has made several appearance since June of 2022, and Finlay had made two appearances since June of 2022.
