AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla reportedly recently signed a new contract with AEW to remain in the company in the foreseeable future, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that Thekla’s new contract was for multiple years in length and was signed well before the expiration date of her original contract that still had two years left on it.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that the reason why AEW gave Thekla a new contract this early was due to AEW officials were so happy with her performance that they made the move to sign her to a new multi-year deal not even a full year into her original deal.
Thekla has been signed with AEW since May of 2025.
