As noted before, “Timeless” Toni Storm is currently out of action for AEW due to her recently suffering undisclosed injuries. Storm is currently believed to not be expected to wrestle again in 2026 due to her injury situation.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that his sources stated that the reason for Storm’s currently lengthy abscense from AEW is not due to an injury or anything related to it.
Meltzer reported that AEW officials found out about Storm’s situation this past Wednesday after being under the impression as late as Wednesday morning that they were proceeding as planned for her scheduled No Holds Barred match on that night’s Dynamite show.
AEW officials reportedly then did an emergency angle to write Storm out and have Mina Shirakawa replace her for the show.
The exact nature for the cause of Storm’s abscense is currently not known.
