Sunday’s Wrestle Queendom VIII event in London, England featured Kris Statlander defeating Charlie, former Dakota Kai in WWE, to retain her EVE International Championship. This match was notable for being Charlie’s first match since March of 2025 and since her release from WWE in May of 2025.
In a recent response to a fan question on Twitter, AEW talent and EVE producer Will Ospreay stated that he hopes Charlie joins AEW in the future.

“Wrestle Queendom 8 was one of the greatest nights of my wrestling career. To have influence from so many promotions; British, Irish, European, Australian, Stardom, NJPW, Sendai Girls, Tokyo Joshi Pro & AEW Thank you to all the front of house staff at the 02, EVE Staff & production team.”
