AJ Styles Comments on His Plans to Keep His WWE Hall of Fame Speech “Short and Sweet”

A recent episode of the Phenomenally Retro podcast featured co-host AJ Styles giving his thoughts about his upcoming induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame and his current plans to keep his Hall of Fame speech “short and sweet.”

“I’m gonna try not to piss everybody off who has come there to see all the other inductions… there’s some guys that we’ve watched in the past and you’re going, ‘Holy cow.’ Everybody’s thinking the same thing, like, ‘Alright man, that was good, that was great.’ So I’m gonna try to make sure that I stay within the guidelines of that and not make people hate AJ Styles based on his Hall of Fame induction speech. So short and sweet, I think is the best way to do it. I don’t know exactly how it’s gonna be or what I’m gonna say, but I know I’ve got a lot of people that I need to thank. I’m gonna try to do that and tell the fans how much I appreciate them for getting me this far because, listen, I look at me in the mirror and I know I never should have made it. So the fact that I did, that’s a testament to the kind of fans that are out there.”

Tiffany Stratton Comments on Rumored WrestleMania 42 Match Plans for Her

As noted before, WWE officials currently have plans for Tiffany Stratton to face off against Giulia in a match for Giulia’s WWE Women’s United States Championship at this April’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

NASCAR All Access’ The Schmo held a recent interview with Stratton. One of the topics discussed included Stratton’s thoughts about the current rumored plans for her match at WrestleMania 42 and if she has been told yet what her involvement will be for the event.

“Yeah, I have heard those rumors, too, and I feel like they’re just rumors because I haven’t really been told anything that I’m on WrestleMania, but we’ll have to wait and see. I hope there’s a championship involved.”

Stratton also clarified the reports and rumors of her having a tooth knocked out during her match against Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Championship at last year’s WrestleMania 41 event.

“I did not have a tooth knocked out. Everyone thinks that, but I did not have a tooth knocked out. It was blood. Okay. It was just blood. There was no tooth knocked out.”

Lexis King & Elio LeFleur Suffered Potential Injuries at March 20th NXT House Show Event

NXT brand talent Lexis King and Elio LeFleur suffered potential injuries at this past Friday’s WWE NXT house show event in Lakeland, Florida.

King and LeFleur’s injuries took place during an Eight-Man Tag Team match between Birthright (King, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Charlie Dempsey, & Uriah Connors) and LeFleur, Tavion Heights, Eli Knight, & Kale Dixon.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that King suffered his injury first and the belief was that he might have suffered a potential concussion injury. Meltzer reported that the match continued on after King received medical treatment but was later stopped for a second time after LeFleur had suffered an apparent arm injury.

Fightful Select reported that their sources provided an update stating that King was doing okay backstage after the match and easing concerns about him suffering any potential serious injury.
