"Some of that stuff was to YOU" 😮

A tense confrontation between @StephMcMahon and @CodyRhodes! pic.twitter.com/Yrlwzi1AkQ
We get a shot walking into the crowd at MSG and then head to ringside…
“Wrestling has more than one royal family”
…as Cody Rhodes makes his entrance to kick off the show! We hear the crowd singing along with his theme as the Undisputed WWE Champion makes his way down the ramp. The crowd cheer as Rhodes enters the ring to pose, and a “Cody” chant breaks out as he grabs the microphone before asking the MSG crowd that all-important question…what do you wanna talk about?
Big pop from the crowd, but Cody is cut off by the music of Stephanie McMahon! Big reaction for Steph as she heads down to the ring, while commentary talks up her upcoming Hall of Fame induction. She responds to a “Stephanie” chant by asking them not to make her cry.
Cody says he’s surprised to see her here, but Steph says he shouldn’t as her name IS Stephanie McMahon, and this is the house her grandfather built. Cody asks what she wants to talk about, and she says she wants to talk about Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and WrestleMania…but Cody might not like what she has to say.
She talks about being “right over there” referring to a part of MSG, and hanging out with Andre the Giant. She, Cody, and Orton are multi-generational talents and know what it’s like to be at the top, with Cody taking the golden road…but she’s not sure he can handle this version of Randy Orton, a much more dangerous version than before.
She says perhaps the likes of Cody’s father could’ve handled Orton as he is now, but Cody is not his father. This version of Cody Rhodes cannot defeat this version of Randy Orton, and Cody has no idea who he’s dealing with. “Randy” chant from the crowd as Cody says the last thing he wants to be is rude to Steph…but he knows all about Randy Orton, running down a list of what Orton has done in the past.
He mentions that some of that stuff was toward Steph herself, and he knows there’s a swath of people who want this student-teacher dynamic but the student left long ago, when he had to play babysitter to Orton all those years ago. He goes back to Steph’s comment about Cody not being his father, and with all due respect…Steph isn’t hers, either. This gets a pop of shock from the crowd, which gets louder when Steph slaps the champ across the face.
She runs the champ down saying she never wanted to see the student out of Cody, but the reality is he is not ready for Orton come WrestleMania, and it will be the last time Cody will be introduced as the Undisputed WWE Champion. She starts to leave the ring but is pulled back by Cody Rhodes, who has two words for her…thank you.
His music hits as the champ makes his exit, and Raw moves on.
Backstage: Adam Pearce, IShowSpeed, Danhausen, LA Knight
DANHAUSEN 💨@DanhausenAD | @ishowspeedsui | @ScrapDaddyAP | @RealLAKnight pic.twitter.com/7OhWTORGoi
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
Backstage, IShowSpeed is looking for Danhausen. Say his name and he appears, as Danhausen offers to uncurse Speed in exchange for revenue. Nothing doing on that, but Pearce does have a front row seat for Speed tonight as he addresses LA Knight being the special guest referee for the World Tag Team Championship Street Fight. Knight says hello and they walk off, leaving us with Pearce and Danhausen.
Pearce is confused about Danhausen not disappearing, eventually just walking off before we head back to ringside. The Usos (with what sounds like new music, finally!) make their entrance, set to defend the World Tag Team Championship in a Street Fight against The Vision…and that match is up next!
WWE World Tag Team Championship Street Fight Match
The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) vs. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c)
The Vision are the NEW Tag Team Champions!
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
WHAT JUST HAPPENED! pic.twitter.com/iH2C3BTRwN
We hear from LA Knight on commentary as The Vision make their entrance to get this tag title match underway!
Logan goes after Jey as Jimmy sends Theory out of the ring, and this allows The Usos to take Paul to the outside joining his Vision pal…just as the champs make a big dive over the ropes to send their challengers to the floor before we go to ad break.
We’re back from break and the plunder is a plenty, as The Vision have taken control with a pair of trashcans and a table propped up in the corner. They charge at Jey with the trashcans but end up colliding with each other instead, and this allows The Usos to fight back with some superkicks. They set a can over Theory before grabbing some kendo sticks, hammering away at Theory before garnering a “Yeet” from the crowd. Jimmy grabs the table to place it on the mat, sending Theory to the corner for a superkick before setting him up on the top turnbuckle…sending Austin through the table with a double superplex!
Logan is struggling at ringside, crawling over to his mother who starts to hand him a set of brass knuckles…but Knight won’t have any of it as he pulls Logan away. Speed gets caught in the middle of this, being pulled into the ringside area as well. Knight sends Paul away as Speed grabs the brass knuckles…and while he seems to be going for Paul with it, he ends up landing a shot on Knight instead!
Speed makes an escape up the ramp as back in the ring, The Usos continue to take the fight to Theory. Jimmy goes to the ropes, where Paul lands a brass knuckles shot on his head…and while Jey goes after Logan, Theory collapses over Jimmy to make the pin!
Winner: The Vision via Pinfall to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Paul and Theory celebrate on the outside, telling Speed he needs to stick with them
Video: CM Punk, The Usos, Roman Reigns
We cut to a video package looking back at the issues between CM Punk and Roman Reign leading up to their match at WrestleMania 42. Both men are in the building here tonight!
In-Ring: Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez
ROXANNE PEREZ IS BACK!!
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
Stephanie Vaquer's Title reign may be in trouble! 😟@YaOnlyLivvOnce | @roxanne_wwe | @Steph_Vaquer pic.twitter.com/Amr9mUv0TD
Back at ringside, Liv Morgan makes her entrance. We’ll hear from her up next!
We get a shot of a NYC subway station and celebs in the crowd including Jeff Ross and Lin-Manuel Miranda, before heading back to the ring where Liv Morgan awaits. Liv has a mic as she addresses New York City, saying they’re now in the presence of the greatest Royal Rumble winner of allllllllllllllllllllllllll…tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime.
Liv isn’t mincing words here as she tells Stephanie Vaquer she’s done, b—h. She runs the champ for coming after her family in the Judgment Day, asking if she’s scared to confront Liv face to face. She doesn’t know about what it’s like where Vaquer comes from, but where Liv comes from they know when it’s on sight. She then talks up her mother, before calling Steph’s trash in Spanish.
She tells Stephanie to come after her, and the champ obliges as her music hits and Vaquer makes a beeline for the ring. She lays the Royal Rumble winner out before going to ringside for a chair…but before she can do anything more, she gets blindsided by a returning Roxanne Perez! This allows the two JD ladies to beat the champ down, before Morgan drops her onto the chair with an Oblivion.
Morgan runs the champ down some more before she and Perez stand over her. Liv grabs the title and raises it up, ahead of facing Vaquer for the belt at WrestleMania.
Video: Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins
We take a look back at Seth Rollins going after Paul Heyman last week, before being pulled away from ringside by some cops.
Backstage: The Vision, IShowSpeed, Adam Pearce
It might be a good idea to check that email, @HeymanHustle 😬@ScrapDaddyAP | @LoganPaul | @_Theory1 | @ishowspeedsui pic.twitter.com/WcDbdXSuhx
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
Backstage, The Vision try to reassure IShowSpeed he’s going to be fine. Heyman joins in this, asking the new champs to take their friend out for dinner to celebrate. The trio leave as Heyman remarks that The Usos are going to kill Speed, before Pearce talks to him about an email he sent the Oracle…only for Heyman to tell him to print it out and give it to him, before walking off.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Lyra Valkyria & Bayley vs. The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) (c)
This Women's Tag Team Championship Match has turned into TOTAL CHAOS!! 🤯 pic.twitter.com/GH3ZZ1Q0En
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
We head back to ringside as the champs finish making their entrance. We take a look back at SmackDown where the champs and challengers got involved in some business involving Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and the Bellas. Back at ringside, this match gets underway!
Legend and Bayley start things off, but Lash takes her down with a boot before tagging in Nia Jax. Bayley escapes a scoop slam for a tag to Lyra, who uses her agility to keep Nia off her game. Jax traps her in the corner as Lash tags in, but Valkyria breaks free before going to the corner. Legend catches her, sending her across the ring for a splash…but Lyra dodges it for a tag to Bayley!
Double dropkick leads to a cover by Bayley, but Lash kicks out at one. Lyra tags back in but both challengers anre dropped by Legend, who brings Lyra to the corner for a tag to Jax. Lyra fights both champs off before hitting the ropes for a dropkick. Blind tag by Bayley allows her to send Nia to the outside onto the table, and Lyra follows suit by taking Legend to the outside as we go to commercial.
Saturday Night’s Main Event comes to Madison Square Garden!
Back in the ring, Lyra takes the fight back to Lash Legend with an enziguri before getting a tag to Bayley, who gets a two count before Lash fights back with a boot before tagging in Jax. Nia with a leg drop and the cover for a nearfall of her own.
Bayley is sent to the corner, but catches Jax by surprise with a powerbomb followed by the tag to Lyra, who gets a nearfall before Legend breaks it up. All four women go at it, knocking each other to the mat as we see The Bellas making their way to the ring…followed closely by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
These four have words with each other until Valkyria comes out to tell them to go away, only to be blindsided by Nia Jax. She argues with the Bellas until Legend takes them out. Nikki gets propped up on the apron as the challengers try to get back in the swing of this match…but Flair and Bliss get involved and this match is essentially thrown out!
Winner: The Irresistible Forces via Disqualification to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Crowd boos as the champs are eventually sent out of the ring by the other three teams. This all feels very familiar to me…maybe because it’s almost exactly what happened on SmackDown last Friday. Anyway.
Video: Oba Femi, Brock Lesnar
We take a look back at Oba Femi once again making a fool out of Brock Lesnar, at least in a manner of speaking, and up next we will hear from Lesnar live on Raw!
Ringside: Danhausen, WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Announcement
During the break, Danhausen revealed to the crowd that Saturday Night’s Main Event returns to Madison Square Garden on July 18.
In-Ring: Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Oba Femi, Triple H
Things just GOT REAL! 😤@TripleH had to break things up between @Obaofwwe and @BrockLesnar! pic.twitter.com/gssBV2t9k8
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
We return to ringside as Brock Lesnar makes his entrance, dressed to fight as Paul Heyman follows him down the ramp. Commentary talks about his match against Oba Femi at WrestleMania as The Beast walks to the ring. Paul has a mic as the crowd chants for Oba Femi. Paul introduces himself and Brock Lesnar.
He is interrupted as the chants for Oba get louder, saying he is out here tonight to pontificate on the perils that await Oba Femi. Two weeks ago, Brock Lesnar was “distracted” by Seth Rollins and “caught off guard” by Oba Femi. Last week, Brock Lesnar was not dressed to fight, he came out to have a Beast to man conversation with Oba Femi…but Oba chose to pick a fight when Brock just wanted to have a conversation. If you’ll notice, Brock Lesnar is dressed…to…fight, because Brock has authorized Paul to reveal that he has seen this before over the course of 25 years.
He runs down what happens to the men that have tried to start a fight with Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar pulls the mic away to tell Oba to get out here right now. What we get instead is Adam Pearce and some security, as the Raw GM says he is protecting his main events for WrestleMania. The people can boo all they want, but this is not happening. He asks Heyman and Lesnar to leave the ring, when suddenly the lights go out and Femi’s music hits.
DA RULA is himself dressed to fight as he appears on the stage. He stares Brock down before making his way down the ramp, seemingly taunting The Beast with his usual level of swagger along the way. Security tries to stop Oba from proceeding, and they all get laid out as Pearce tries to reason with him…only to be shoved into the barricade!
Oba walks around the ring, staring Lesnar down. All the while the crowd are chanting for Oba as we can see the mind games at play here with Femi circling the mat before stepping into the ring. “Holy s–t” chants from the crowd as the two men stare each other down…but here comes Triple H as he slides into the ring, the crowd booing as he stands in between the pair.
The fans chant “let them fight” but Paul (PAUL) will not, before Lesnar reluctantly leaves the ring…only to grab a set of ring steps, looking to use it on Femi. He eventually takes his leave from ringside, but not before taking out one of the security guards with an F5 before retreating up the ramp.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge Match
Kofi Kingston vs. Penta (c)
A LADDER MATCH AT WRESTLEMANIA! 🪜 @PENTAELZEROM will defend the Intercontinental Title in a match that truly defies gravity! pic.twitter.com/YZiM1S5QJz
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
The two trade offense before Kingston takes control, keeping the champ down with a DDT for a two count. Penta fights back with a few chops, but Kofi dodges a corner attack only to be caught by the champ with knees to the face for a nearfall. Kofi breaks free from a Penta Driver attempt, but the champ kicks him in the corner before landing a double boot for two. Right hand by the champ, but Kofi lands a springboard dropkick to get back into it.
Penta fights him off at the ropes, but takes a back body drop onto the apron before Waller confronts him on the outside. Kofi intervenes, saying he doesn’t need the help as we go to break.
Back from break, Penta lays in a few shots before hitting the ropes for a set of kicks…followed by a sling blade for good measure! Kofi fights back for SOS, but only gets a two count for his effort.
Kofi hits the ropes, landing a kick for another nearfall as Penta rolls out of the ring. Walker looks to get involved but instead sets him onto the apron, leading to Kofi telling him to stay away in the corner…and this leads to Penta fighting back as he sends Kingston onto the announce table! Grayson mocks Kofi about this but takes a Mexican Destroyer to the floor, before Penta brings the challenger back to the ring.
Kofi lands a Trouble In Paradise on the champ, but only gets a nearfall as Penta fights back, bringing him to the corner for a Mexican Destroyer for the win.
Winner: Penta via Pinfall to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Penta celebrates the win as we get an interview. The champ is asked what could be in store for him going into WrestleMania, and Penta promises pain for whoever wants to step up. He says that he spoke with Pearce, and his title will be hung up high. If you want it, climb and fall…because up there is not your world but Penta’s kingdom!
The champ reveals that his title will be on the line in a ladder match at the biggest show of the year, because he is Penta…y cero miedo!
Big pop from the crowd.
Backstage: Paul Heyman, Adam Pearce
We go backstage, where Pearce once again confronts Heyman once again about his email. Heyman makes fun of the GM saying he smells (yeah, I know) before promising more of that right now. Heyman walks away, and it seems we’ll hear more from him up next as we go to commercial break.
In-Ring: Paul Heyman, Adam Pearce, Seth Rollins, Gunther
GUNTHER JUST PUT ROLLINS TO SLEEP! 😱@Gunther_AUT | @WWERollins pic.twitter.com/GYofl6AeUH
— WWE (@WWE) March 31, 2026
We head back to ringside as Paul Heyman is back to talk some more. He addresses something about the lights before acknowledging the NEW World Tag Team Champions in The Vision.
He tried to give the fans in MSG Brock Lesnar versus Oba Femi, and that wannabe mid-level pseudo-General Manager Adam Pearce…but Heyman is cut off as Pearce makes his way out. Adam once again asks Paul if he’s checked his email today.
Heyman talks about he doesn’t have time to check his email before Pearce reveals what he was trying to tell Paul…that Boston PD has dropped all charges against Seth Rollins. This doesn’t seem to faze Heyman who talks about being a New York native, the last manager standing from the 1980s, and the last promoter standing from the 1990s (to an “ECW” chant from the crowd).
Pearce drops the news to Heyman that Seth Rollins has also been medically cleared to compete. THIS seems to shake Heyman as the music of Seth Rollins plays…and the former Visionary blindsides Heyman with a chair! He looks to continue the beatdown, until we see Gunther pull him out of the ring before locking Rollins in a sleeper hold. He shouts at Seth to go to sleep before pointing to the WrestleMania sign, letting Rollins know that’s what he has in store for his future. Gunther’s music hits as the Ring General walks away, before we go to commercial break.
Video: Paul Heyman, Adam Pearce, Seth Rollins, Gunther
We get a recap of what just went down, and head back to ringside for our next match already in progress.
IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez
The two trade offense until IYO sends Raquel to the outside, but Rodriguez catches SKY on a dive before sending her into the ring apron. She brings her back into the ring but only gets a two count. Raquel continues to go to work on IYO, keeping her from using her speed before dropping her to the mat.
She goes for a powerbomb, but SKY sends her to the outside with a headscissors followed by an Asai moonsault as we go to commercial.
Back from break, IYO fends off Raquel to take her to the mat. Rodriguez heads to the corner but that allows IYO to land double knees. She climbs the turnbuckle for an Over the Moonsault, but Raquel gets her feet up! Clothesline by Raquel gets her a two.
SKY counters a powerbomb for a double stomp, but the cover yields the same nearfall as the Kabuki Warriors make their way out to get involved. IYO fends them off before Raquel gets a rollup for two. IYO fights back with a headscissors sending her to the corner for another Bullet Train Attack, as Asuka gets into it with Kairi at ringside.
IYO can’t stand to see it and lands a dive onto the Empress of Tomorrow while crashing into the floor herself. She checks on Sane before entering the ring again, but Raquel takes her down with a Tejana Bomb for the win!
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez via Pinfall.

With that, we head to ringside as Roman Reigns makes his entrance to a big pop.
With that, we head to ringside as Roman Reigns makes his entrance to a big pop. Commentary hypes up the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania when Reigns challenges Punk for the belt, and the OTC acknowledges the crowd acknowledging him on his way to the ring.
He steps through the ropes as the crowd alternate between chanting his name, booing him, chanting “OTC” and chanting for CM Punk. Roman has a mic now as he acknowledges New York City…before telling them to acknowledge him. Just like that, things change as CM Punk’s music hits to a big pop. Punk makes a beeline for the ramp, and there is no time for talk as the two come to blows inside the ring!
Punk sends the OTC to the ropes but takes a spear sending him to the mat. Roman picks up the champ, but Punk turns it around to send Reigns to the outside. He slams the OTC against the announce table as officials come rushing down to break this up…but the two men pay no mind as they go back to trading shots. Pearce gets knocked down by Reigns, who goes for a powerbomb only for Punk to counter out. He looks for a GTS but Roman breaks free, dropping one of the officials with a spear before Punk finally catches him with a GTS.
Punk starts to back away, only to go right back after Roman with some right hands. Punk looks for a powerbomb of his own, sending the OTC on a one-way flight through the announce table! Punk is pleased with this, sitting cross-legged beside Reigns. He starts mocking Roman with a chant before landing a few more shots for good measure, walking away to stand tall on the barricade as his music plays. Punk is enjoying himself, giving some high fives along the barricade to fans in the front row as Raw comes to a close.
