AEW reportedly is currently scheduled to be holding a new pay-per-view event in 2026, according to a recent episode of The Mat Men Pro Wrestling.
Andrew Zarian reported in a recent episode of The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast that his sources stated that AEW is currently scheduled to be holding a new pay-per-view event in 2026.
Zarian reported that those spoken to stated that the name of this new event is expected to be AEW Redemption. This is the same name that AEW had trademarked earlier this month.
Zarian also reported that it is currently not known when this upcoming event will be taking place.
AEW’s events schedule for this year currently has both June and July open with no events announced as of yet.
This would bring AEW’s yearly PPV schedule to ten events and the first time that AEW expanded their PPV events schedule since 2024.
