CM Punk and Damian Priest Involved in Separate Fan Incidents Post-WrestleMania 42 Over Inappropriate Fan Contact with Female Wrestlers

TMZ Sports reported that CM Punk was involved in an incident with a fan that took place in Las Vegas following Sunday’s WrestleMania 42 Night 2 event.

It was reported that this incident took place in a hotel lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and Punk was seen smacking a fan’s phone away over him getting upset over the fan filming his wife AJ Lee and Bayley as the two were hugging and saying goodbye to each other.

In a video of the incident posted, the fan attempted to apologize to Punk who replied back angrily saying “No, you’re not.” Security was then seen stepping in to stop the incident from escalating any further and both the fan and Punk and Lee walked away in different directions.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Punk’s incident with the fan was not an isolated incident at the same hotel over the past week.

Johnson reported that Damien Priest was also involved in an incident with fans after he had to step in when fans were swarming a female WWE talent for autographs and photos.

A WWE referee reportedly was also almost knocked down by a crowd of fans who had gathered at the hotel in another separate incident.

Johnson reported that there has been a significant concern surrounding the security of the hotel last week due to the hotel’s connection to the casino led to fans gathering and camping by elevators and the lobby area waiting to get pictures with WWE talents. Johnson reported that there were multiple instances involving Priest, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, and other talents getting swarmed by fans with little to no security in sight at their place of stay for this past weekend’s WrestleMania 42 events.
