As noted before, Colten Gunn has been out of action for AEW since this past July due to a knee injury.
A recent virtual fan signing event for Signed By Superstars featured AEW talent and coach Billy Gunn and former WWE SmackDown co-lead writer Brian “Road Dogg” James as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Gunn providing an update on his son Colten’s recovery stating that he was recently medically cleared for an in-ring return.
“He’s great. He just got cleared yesterday. So he’s good. Thank you for asking.”
