As noted before, AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher has been out of action for AEW since the March 28th AEW Collision tapings due to a knee-related injury. Besides Fletcher, Private Party’s Marq Quen is also currently out action for AEW since the same tapings due to an undisclosed injury.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Fletcher had suffered a meniscus injury and other undisclosed “additional injuries.” Those spoken to reportedly stated that these injuries are currently expected to keep Fletcher out of action for a while.
It was reported that Fletcher had suffered the meniscus injury during his tag team match with Mark Davis against The Rascalz but it is currently not known if the other injuries were caused by the same match.
It was also reported that AEW’s plans for the TNT Championship in regards to if they will keep the title on Fletcher or introduce an Interim title are currently not known.
In regards to Quen, it was reported that those spoken to stated that Quen may have sustained a tear but it is currently not known to what body part.
It was reported that Quen is currently expected to miss “some significant time” as a result. It was also reported that it is currently not known if Quen had suffered the injury during his tag team match with Isiah Kassidy against the Death Riders on the show.
