Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 2 event in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Oba Femi defeating Brock Lesnar in a singles match and Roman Reigns defeating CM Punk to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
During WWE’s WrestleMania 42 Night 2 post-show, Femi came out as one of the guests. One of the topics discussed included Femi calling out Reigns for a future title match for Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
“In the coming weeks is the establishment of a new main event player. At the end of the year, the OTC CAN GET SOME!”
Later in the post-show, Reigns came out and talked about his title victory and stated that he will be making an appearance at this Monday’s WWE RAW show in Las Vegas.
“I think tomorrow is a celebration. I think in the coming weeks is the establishment of a new main event player. And I think at the end of the year, the OTC [Roman Reigns] can get some!”
Reigns also responded to Femi’s challenge for his title and a potential future match between the two.
“Oba [Femi] had a big night. Oba, you gonna kill me? You still seem a little fresh in this business. You did a big thing tonight, but I’ve done that many times. I did that with the title on the line. Let’s see how you do in the Summer, then we’ll see if you can step to the Greatest of All Time.”
