Tessa Blanchard vs. Persephone for CMLL World Women’s Title Announced for CMLL Slamfest

CMLL announced one newly updated match for the card of their Slamfest event on April 16th at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This newly updated match announced was a CMLL World Women’s Championship match of Tessa Blanchard vs. Persephone (c).

Mayu Iwatani Suffered Big Toe Fractures Injury

Marigold announced that Marigold Superfly Champion and GHC Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani recently suffered a big toe fractures injury.

It was announced that Iwatani had suffered two fractures in her big toe and will be out of action for the foreseeable future as a result.

“Mayu Iwatani suffered fractures in two places on her big toe. She will be out of action for the time being.

Furthermore, Maddy Morgan fell ill after the Osaka event and will miss the Matsusaka City event. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”

Gabe Steveson Signs with UFC & Set To Make Official Debut at UFC 329

Saturday’s UFC 327 event in Miami, Florida featured Olympic gold medalist and former WWE wrestler Gable Steveson being shown in the audience.

It was announced that Steveson had recently signed a contract with UFC and will be making his official debut for the company at their UFC 329 event on July 11th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Steveson is currently 3-0 in his MMA career.
