WrestleCon Announces New Main Event Match for Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow 2026
As noted before, TNA Wrestling recently changed their policy no longer allowing contracted TNA talents to work on the same indies shows as AEW talents, specifically in regards to matches involving TNA talents competing against contracted AEW talents. Among the matches pulled by TNA President Carlos Silva included Leon Slater’s scheduled match against Ricochet for WrestleCon’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow 2026 event.
WrestleCon provided an update on Saturday announcing a new main event match for their upcoming Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow 2026 event on April 16th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of The Demand (Ricochet & GOA (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) & Michael Oku.

GoFundMe Launched for Berwyn Eagles Club After Shutdown of Wrestling Events
As noted before, indies wrestler Krule, also known as Mads Krugger, was involved in an alleged fan stabbing incident at an indies event for Ruthless Pro Wrestling this past March in Berwyn, Illinois. This “stabbing” incident was later revealed to have been faked and the host venue Berwyn Eagles Club informed Game Changer Wrestling and other indies promotions that they would no longer be hosting wrestling events due to the incident had resulted in the town, lawyers, and police getting involved
A GoFundMe fundraiser was recently launched to help financially support the Berwyn Eagles Club due to legal issues involving the fake fan “stabbing” incident. It was announced that the venue had lost their license to hold wrestling events as a result of the incident and it had been a primary source of income for them.
Chuck Marose Sr. has dedicated decades to running the World Famous Berwyn Eagles Club, a beloved venue that has been at the heart of the Chicago Professional Wrestling scene. For years, the club has brought together fans, athletes, and the community, creating memories and supporting local talent. Chuck’s commitment has made the Eagles Club a true staple in the area, and his passion for wrestling has touched countless lives.
Recently, the club faced an unexpected setback. Due to an incident beyond their control, the venue lost its license and is no longer allowed to host wrestling shows. This sudden change has led to immediate event cancellations, leaving Chuck and the club without their primary source of income. The loss not only impacts the club’s day-to-day operations but also puts its long-term future at risk as they search for new ways to sustain the business.
The funds raised through this campaign will help Chuck cover essential operating costs and provide the support needed as he explores new business ideas to keep the Berwyn Eagles Club alive. Your generosity will make a real difference during this challenging time. Please consider contributing and sharing this fundraiser to help Chuck and the club navigate these uncertain days and work toward a brighter future.
In a recent interview with the BLVD Bullies podcast, Ruthless Pro Wrestling co-owner Ricky Shane Page gave his thoughts about the incident and his belief that Krule might have had a cut from earlier in the show and had forgotten about it.
“I don’t know. It was after the show, I was completely covered in blood and glass. I set my merch up on the ring, just because there was no room at the merch tables. I just heard a “kerfuffle”, you know, I heard some “shuffling”. I saw hands being thrown, where they were landed, I don’t know. Then, that person was escorted out of the building by security at Berwyn.
Later on, Krule was like, “Oh, I’m bleeding really bad, I don’t know what from”, that’s all I know (laughs). Mind you, he had a death match with SHLAK, and that involved a lot of light tubes, and he might have had a cut he forgot about. But I don’t know, I wasn’t over there, I didn’t see it. That guy was being an asshole all night, getting in people’s faces and stuff, so like, I’m not surprised that happened, but I don’t know that’s what you get for messing with a bunch of wrestlers and a bunch of dudes that don’t play like that.”
