AJ Lee Comments on “If I Could Bring Somebody Back To WWE, I’d Pick Paige And Kaitlyn”

Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown on SI held a recent interview with WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee. One of the topics discussed included Lee wanting WWE to bring back Paige, former Saraya in AEW, and Kaitlyn to the company.

“I love Paige… if I could bring somebody back, her and Kaitlyn. Let’s get them back.”

Lee also stated that she believes Paige deserves to see the strides that the company has made in recent years.

“It would be great. She’s so talented and I knew it from day one. We’d always joke that I was her fairy godmother and I just took her under my wing and tried to protect her. And just to see her now, it would be kind of heartwarming and healing, and she would be a great addition to this locker room. I think this place has really come a long way and the women work together so beautifully, and they’re so supportive. I would love for her to experience just how fun it is now.”

Ric Flair Says WWE is Trying to “Destroy” His Legacy

WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Ric Flair announced earlier today on Twitter that he is no longer allowed to have merchandise with clothing manufacturer Roots of Fight due to issues involving WWE.

Flair stated that it was WWE’s call for his deal with Roots of Fight to be removed and claimed that the company has been trying to “destroy” his legacy in wrestling.

In an interesting note, other WWE Hall of Famers such as Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Roddy Piper, Randy Savage, Andre the Giant and Iron Sheik and current WWE talents CM Punk and Rey Mysterio currently have merchandise available for sale on Roots of Fight’s website.

“I Woke Up This Morning To Find Out That I’m No Longer Allowed To Be With @rootsoffight Per @WWE.
