Opening Matches for Both Nights of WrestleMania 42 Revealed

As noted before, WWE recently revealed the official card lineups for both nights of WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have scheduled for the Six-Man Tag Team match of LA Knight & The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) vs. IShowSpeed & The Vision (Austin Theory & Logan Paul) to be the opening match of Night 1 on April 18th to air on ESPN2.

It was reported that the singles match of Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar is scheduled to be the opening match of Night 2 on April 19th to air on ESPN.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that ESPN had pushed for Lesnar’s match to take place during the portion of the card airing on their networks and WWE was happy to oblige to their request.


WWE Reportedly Scrapped The Usos New Theme Song After Crowd Reaction at 3/30 WWE RAW Show

The March 30th episode of WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York featured The Usos debuting a new entrance theme song.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE has “tabled” or shelved The Usos’ new theme song for the foreseeable future due to the weak reactions and failing to connect with the crowd at their RAW show in MSG.

It was reported that this new theme song had been in development for months before making its official debut.

It was also reported that WWE officials currently want a more interactive theme song for The Usos heading into next weekend’s WrestleMania 42 event in Las Vegas.


WWE Reportedly Inquired About WrestleMania 42 Promotional Piece On The Sphere

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials has been considering plans for a promotional piece for WrestleMania 42 to be showcased on The Sphere venue in Las Vegas.

It was reported that WWE had inquired about the potential of having a promotional piece be displayed on The Sphere during WrestleMania week in the city but no deal for it has been made as of yet.

WWE officials reportedly also had an early concept idea of Danhausen being featured on The Sphere.
