Post Wrestling and Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that WWE recently got approval for $3,314,821 in tax credits from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development for their upcoming WrestleMania 42 event on April 18-19 and other related events that week in Las Vegas.
Thurston reported that this tax credit is based on how much WWE expects to spend to produce the events in the city, which is around $35 million.
Thurston also reported that this year’s tax credit is higher than what WWE received last year for WrestleMania 41 and related events, which was $4,240,456.
The actual amount WWE will receive will be determined by an independent audit after WWE’s events that weekend.
