Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s current ticket sales for this month’s WrestleMania 42 event at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada are still moving at a sluggish level.
Meltzer reported that as of the time of his report, WWE has sold and distributed around 38,711 tickets for Night 1 on April 18th and 40,333 tickets for Night 2 on April 19th.
Meltzer reported that WWE’s current total of 79,044 tickets for WrestleMania 42 is around 18.8% lower than what last year’s WrestleMania 41 had for its total at this same point last year.
Meltzer reported that WWE’s 31.6% discount sale for tickets on March 16th managed to cut the deficit to 13.3% but the gap grew again even with the recent 25% discount sale and announcement of John Cena as the official host for the event.
Meltzer speculated that WrestleMania 42 likely will still reach around 50,000 for tickets sold and distributed for both nights but that week’s SmackDown show on April 17th is still performing very badly for ticket sales at this point. Meltzer reported that the April 17th SmackDown show only has around 5,749 tickets out and the RAW show on April 20th has 7,329 tickets out at the T-Mobile Arena. WWE’s Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony show on April 17th reportedly is currently at 2,059 tickets out.
