AEW Dynamite kicks off with a clip from earlier of the day with Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks. They talk about their Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing. The Young Bucks call themselves The Bucks of Jericho but Jericho says he was thinking more Y2Jackson.


Trios Match
Chris Jericho & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Ricochet & Don Callis Family (Andrade El Idolo & Mark Davis)

The bell rings and we are under way. Jericho and Ricochet start the match but Ricochet tags Andrade in. Jericho with a head lock but Andrade throws him to the ropes and Jericho with a chop to the chest. Jericho throws Andrade to the ropes but Andrade rolls to the outside of the ring. Andrade begins talking to two females at ringside and they take a selfie with him. Andrade turns around and Jericho with a chop to the chest. Andrade back in the ring and Jericho tags Nick into the match. The Young Bucks get in the ring and Andrade is triple teamed. Nick grabs Andrade but Andrade gets him in the corner and Davis is tagged in. Davis with right hands. Ricochet is tagged in. Andrade gets in the ring but Nick takes them both down. Matt is tagged in and he hits Andrade with a northern lights suplex. Matt slams Ricochet face first and he double suplexes Andrade and Ricochet. Nick is tagged in and The Young Bucks with a suicide dive onto Ricochet and Andrade. Jericho climbs the top rope and he lands a splash onto Ricochet, Andrade and Davis.

Back from commercial, Matt is in the ring with Ricochet. He tags Jericho in and Ricochet tags Andrade in. Jericho with a shoulder tackle. Jericho climbs the top rope and lands a double axe handle. Jericho with a bull dog. Ricochet gets on the ring apron but Jericho hits him with a right hand. Davis gets in the ring and Matt hits him with a right hand. Both teams are in the ring. Jericho and The Young Bucks with three hurricanranas off the top rope. The Young Bucks super kick Andrade and Jericho hits him with the Code Breaker. He goes for the cover but Ricochet breaks it up. Jericho tags Matt in and Matt tags Nick in. The Young Bucks super kick Andrade and Davis. Ricochet jumps off the top rope but they double super kick him. Matt goes for a splash on Andrade but he moves out of the way. Andrade with a suplex onto Nick and he lands the three amigos. Andrade suplexes Nick onto Matt. Andrade climbs the top rope and goes for the moon sault but Matt moves out of the way, Andrade lands on his feet, goes for a moon sault but Matt gets his knees up. Nick with the Canadian Destroyer and the Young Bucks with the BTE Trigger. Matt goes for the cover but Ricochet breaks it up. Jericho grabs Ricochet but Ricochet kicks him away. Ricochet to the ropes but Jericho clotheslines him to the outside. Jericho with a baseball slide. Jericho to the outside but Ricochet slams him into the announce table. Ricochet climbs on a piece of equipment and lifts Jericho up. Jericho with a right hand and he back suplexes Ricochet through a table. Matt climbs the top rope but Davis trips him up. Andrade goes for a spinning elbow onto Nick but he moves out of the way and Andrade hits Davis. The Young Bucks with the BTE Trigger onto Andrade. Matt goes for the cover but Andrade kicks out. Davis grabs a chair and that distracts the referee. Out comes David Finlay and he hits Mat with a shillelagh. Andrade goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Ricochet & Don Callis Family via Pinfall.

Out come everyone from the Stadium Stampede match and they begin to fight around the arena.

Back from commercial, Renee Paquette is with Darby Allin. She asks him why he keeps defending his titles. He says he has no choice, this is the greatest feeling in the world to be World Champion. He says it’s hair against title. He says MJF is the most vain man in the world. He tells Speedball, he will do whatever it takes.

Anything Goes Match
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Mark Briscoe

The bell rings and we are under way. Mark comes out with a garbage can and a kendo stick. Ciampa with a right hand. Ciampa to the outside of the ring and he grabs a mouse trap but the mouse trap get son his hand. Mark to the outside and he hits Ciampa with a right hand. Mark grabs a broom and he breaks it across Ciampa’s back. Mark pulls a table from under the ring and he places it at ringside. Mark gets on the ring apron and lands a cannonball onto Ciampa. Mark grabs a metal chain and he chokes Ciampa with it. Mark places Ciampa on the table and Mark climbs the top rope but Ciampa with a right hand. Ciampa places the chain around Mark’s neck and he pulls Mark crashing through the table. Ciampa throws Mark back into the ring. Ciampa grabs a cheese grater and he grates Mark’s forehead with it. Mark begins to bleed from his forehead.

Back from commercial, Mark pulls a table from under the ring. Mark grabs a garbage can and gets barbed wire. He begins to staple the barbed wire onto the table. Ciampa throws the garbage can onto Mark. Ciampa grabs a paper from the announce table and he staples it into Mark’s forehead. He throws Mark back into the ring. Ciampa grabs a knee pad with thumbtasks on it. He runs towards Mark but Mark trips him and Ciampa hits a ladder that is placed in the corner. Mark grabs a screwdriver and he stabs Ciampa with it. Ciampa bleeding from the his forehead. Mark grabs Ciampa but Ciampa with a right hand. Ciampa suplexes Mark onto the ladder. He goes for the cover but Mark kicks out. Ciampa hits Mark with a knee to the face, the thumbtacks to the face. Ciampa places two chairs and he places Mark on the top rope. Ciampa gets on the second rope and lifts Mark up but Mark lands on his feet. Mark with a right hand and he places Ciampa on the top rope. Mark throws Ciampa onto the two chairs. Ciampa rolls onto the ring apron. Mark piledrives Ciampa onto the table with the barbed wire on the outside of the ring. Mark throws Ciampa back into the ring. He climbs the top rope and lands a flying elbow drop. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Mark Briscoe via Pinfall.


In-Ring: Prince Nana, Swerve Strickland, Bandido

Tony Schiavone is in the ring but out comes Prince Nana. He insults Tony and Tony leaves the ring. Prince Nana introduces Swerve Strickland. As Swerve is coming down to the ring, Bandido hits him from behind. He throws Swerve into the barricade. Bandido gets in the ring and lands a splash onto Swerve on the outside of the ring. He throws Swerve into the ring steps. Prince Nana grabs a steel chair but Bandido hits him with a right hand. Swerve kicks Bandido on his leg. He throws Bandido in the ring and Swerve grabs a steel chair. Swerve grabs Bandido but Bandido with a right hand. Bandido gorilla press slams Swerve. Bandido grabs the steel chair but Swerve rolls to the outside of the ring.


Backstage: Willow Nightingale

We cut to the back and Willow Nightingale talks about being the AEW TBS Champion. She says that she told herself to fight day in and day out to any challenger. She says that she suffered a shoulder injury and has to vacate her Championship. WIllow says that she is out of the Owen Hart Tournament because of the injury.


AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Jon Moxley (c)

The bell rings and we are under way. Moxley with a head lock take down but Kyle gets out of it. Kyle with a head lock but Moxley with a leg scissor. Kyle gets out of it. Moxley with a chop to the chest and Moxley with right hands. Kyle with right hands and a snap suplex. He goes for the cover but Moxley kicks out. Kyle with a right hand but Moxley with a right hand and Kyle falls to the mat. Moxley with a thumb to the eye and Moxley with right hands. Moxley runs towards Kyle but Kyle throws him to the outside of the ring. Kyle to the ropes but he stops in pain. Moxley gets back in the ring and Moxley with a boot to the face.

-Commercial Break-

(Temporary hot tag due to tech issues, Alex is checking in once more!)

Back from break, Kyle starts to turn things around as he goes for an ankle lock on the champ…but Mox manages to break free, leaving the ring for a breather. O’Reilly pursues him and they trade kicks before taking each other to the floor. The ref begins the count before both men end up back in the ring, taking their fight to the corner where Mox takes a bite out of Kyle and digs into his back as we find out five minutes remain.

He brings O’Reilly to the mat before setting up for a bulldog choke…but Kyle rolls through, going for a cross arm breaker on the champ! He transitions to an ankle lock, but Mox forces him to the mat to counter with a bulldog choke once again. Kyle struggles as he crawls to the ropes, forcing a break.

Jon pulls O’Reilly to the apron for a piledriver, but Kyle breaks free and pulls him to the floor. He brings the champ back into the ring and goes for a choke of his own, before Mox fights to his feet…only for O’Reilly to land an exploder sending the champ to the canvas! Both men back to their feet, as Kyle lands a kick sending Mox back down…but he’s struggling to get up as well as the ref starts a standing count.

Both men make it back up and trade punches as we get the one minute warning. Mox goes for a stomp but Kyle grabs his ankle, spinning through for an ankle lock! He locks in a grapevine, and Jon is trapped in the middle of the ring as he fights the urge to tap. He holds on just long enough for the time limit to expire, and after the bell rings we get the announcement that O’Reilly surviving the time limit means he’s earned a shot at the Continental Championship!

Result: Time Limit Draw (by way of Continental Rules, Kyle O’Reilly earns a future shot at the AEW Continental Championship)

Kyle looks less than pleased by what happened, taking a microphone to say he didn’t survive a damn thing. He knows he can beat Mox considering he’s made him tapped out before, demanding his title match have No Time Limit before telling Mox he’s out of luck.


Backstage: Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander

Backstage, we hear from Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida who address the news about Willow Nightingale. They talk about keeping their eyes on the entire women’s division as one of them will be champion after Double Or Nothing, and will be ready for whoever wins the Owen Hart Tournament and becomes number one contender.


Backstage: RUSH

RUSH was seen backstage and issued a challenge to Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship at next week’s show if Allin retains his title against MJF at Double or Nothing.


Eight-Woman Tag Team Match
Athena & Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart, Skye Blue, & Thekla) vs. Thunder Rosa, Mina Shirakawa, & The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter)

We start things off with Rosa and Athena, as the two trade offense culminating in a springboard cross body by Rosa for a two count. She takes Athena to the corner for a tag to Windsor, laying into Athena before a tag is made to Skye Blue. She takes advantage of a slip between the Birds on a tag, getting a nearfall off a sunset flip.

Tags made to Thekla and Mina, the latter taking the fight to the Toxic Spider for a torneo and a two count. She shimmies for the crowd, who show their appreciation as we go to ad break.

Back from break, chaos has broken out in the ring as Athena clears the apron before landing a shot on Mina for a cradle and a two count. Tag made to Rosa, who goes after Blue when she tags in. Clothesline in the corner by Thunder, who lands a double stomp on Skye. Blue moves away from the corner but gets caught with a dropkick in the ropes by Rosa, only for Athena to come in off and clear things out. She goes for a dive to the outside but is intercepted by Mina, who ends up landing a DDT sending her to the floor instead.

Back in the ring, Thekla tags herself in before leaving the ring. This seems to add some confusion to the mix as the Brawling Birds go after Blue, not realizing that Thekla is innocent…and she takes advantage of the situation with some black mist on Rosa for a roll up and the win!

Winner: Athena & Triangle of Madness via Pinfall.

The quartet celebrate as we get a graphic for the Owen match between Mina and Athena for this Sunday.


Backstage: JetSpeed

From there we cut backstage, where Kevin Knight hypes up his bud Bailey ahead of the World Championship match against Darby Allin. Knight tells Speedball not to “forget the little people” as he’d love another crack at the title should Bailey win it.


Backstage: Death Riders

Backstage, Renee tries to talk to Mox about his match tonight as he and his boys do pushups. Mox gets up to say he doesn’t sweat the small stuff, thanking Kyle for pushing him and making him crazy as he can’t seem to beat O’Reilly. He notes Kyle has tapped him twice, but what are the odds he can do it a third time. He says this time the house finally wins, and Game 7 is the only game that matters. When everything is on the line.

He asks the Death Riders if he misses, before walking off. Dynamite rolls on.


AEW World Championship
“Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Darby Allin (c)

We head to ringside for our Dynamite main event as “Speedball” Mike Bailey heads down the ramp. Out next is Darby Allin as the AEW World Champion makes his entrance to get this match underway!

Or maybe not, brother, as MJF’s music hits. The man who will face Darby at Double Or Nothing makes his way out to a big pop and with plenty of pyro, heading down the ramp with a smirk as he walks over to commentary before we actually get things underway!

Bailey catches the champ off guard, sending him into the corner before landing a hard kick. Darby manages to avoid the path of an Ultimate Weapon, but is swept off his feet onto the apron before landing on the floor outside. Triangle moonsault by the challenger, and Bailey follows up with a few shots on Darby before sending him into the ring steps for more damage. He keeps on the attack with some clubbing forearms to the back against the barricade, only for the champ to trip him up at the last second.

He steps onto the barricade, setting Bailey up for a Scorpion Death Drop that sends the challenger down hard as we go to ad break!

Back from break, both men are fighting it out on the outside until Darby is knocked down. This doesn’t last long as he slides back into the ring, building up speed for a dive that sends Bailey into the announce table. He brings the challenger back into the ring, but Speedball dodges a Coffin Drop to stay in this. Darby heads to the corner but is caught with a kick by Bailey…only for Darby to dodge Ultimate Weapon! He climbs up top and lands a Coffin Drop, going for the cover…but MJF gets Speedball’s foot on the bottom rope to break the pin!

The ref catches this and has words with MJF as Knight comes running down the ramp to confront Friedman. Darby’s distraction by this allows him to get cradled for a two count, countering out before Speedball lands a straightjacket sunset flip for a nearfall. He follows up with a hard kick to the champ, but this only gets a two as well.

Standing moonsault into a double knee, and after Darby gets up he’s sent to the corner with a superkick by the challenger. Both men fight for position for nearfalls on both sides, before Darby lands another Scorpion Death Drop that yields another two count.

Darby sets the challenger up for a Scorpion Deathlock now, as Bailey struggles for a way out. He crawls to the ropes to force a break, only for Darby to go up top for a Coffin Drop! This breaks him away from the ropes, allowing the champ to cinch in another Scorpion Deathlock. Speedball inches toward the ropes with Knight willing him on…but it’s not enough as Bailey ends up tapping out!

Winner: Darby Allin via Submission to retain the AEW World Championship.

Darby is presented with the title but barely moving as the Dynamite portion of the evening comes to a quick close.

Kevin Knight is in the ring and tells Mike Bailey that he is proud of him. Knight then tells Allin that he comes out week after week and defends the title like no other champion. Knight then tells Darby he wants to see MJF get his head shaved bald. As Knight and Bailey walk off, MJF sneaks through the crowd and takes out Allin, attacking him in the ring. MJF pounds on the head of Allin and then jaws at the crowd. MJF grabs the title as the fans chant ‘Bald’. MJF holds up the title and says three times…he then puts his watch at commentary table with Taz. MJF goes under the ring and grabs hair clippers. MJF grabs Allin, but Darby fights off MJF and tries to buzz his hair, but MJF escapes and rolls out of the ring, while Darby holds up the clippers. MJF then screams that the world title is his belt.


Backstage: Death Riders, Will Ospreay

Commentary runs down the card for Double or Nothing this Sunday. We go backstage with the Death Riders hyping up Will Ospreay, who makes his way out to the ring, as we get ready for our first match on the Collision portion of tonight’s three-hour show.


Will Ospreay vs. Katsuyori Shibata

The bell rings, as Shibta goes right to an armbar on Ospreay, but he breaks the hold by making it to the bottom rope. Both men are up, as Shibata wants a handshake. Ospreay takes Shibata down by grabbing the left ankle and bending it. Shibata breaks the hold and flips over. The action goes to the apron. Shibata suplexes Ospareay on the apron, as both men hit the floor. Shibata then suplexes Ospreay on the floor. Shibata grabs Ospreay and sets him up on a chair. Shibata then kicks Ospreay in the face. Shibata rolls Ospreay back in the ring, as lays big forearms into his head. Ospreay reverses it, but Shibata comes back. Ospreay connects with a high boot on Shibata, who rolls to the floor. Ospreay leaps over the ropes, landing on Shibata.

Back from the break, Shibata chops Ospreay, but he comes back, taking down Shibata. The ref begins the ten count. Ospreay grabs Shibata and drops him again. Ospreay is on the apron and takes flight, landing a big forearm on Shibata. Ospreay covers Shibata, but he kicks out at two. Ospreay kicks Shibata in the head. Shibata comes back grabbing Ospreay, who breaks the hold by backing up to the corner. Shibata connects with a drop kick on Ospray and then covers him for only a two count. Ospreay kicks Shibata in the back of the head. Ospreay then connects with an elbow strike on Shibata, followed by a falcon arrow. Ospreay covers Shibata for only a two count. Ospreay comes off the top, hitting Shibata.

Anthony Bowens distracts Ospreay, allowing Shibata nail Opsreay. We get a standoff with the Opps and Death Riders. Marina Shafir sends Bowens away. Ospreay has Shibata up and then lands a Styles Clash. Opsreay then hits Shibata with a hidden blade, then covers him for the three count.

Winner: Will Ospreay via Pinfall.

After the match, the music of Samoa Joe hits, as the fans chant his name. Joe has a mic in hand. He then talks about Ospreay and his wonderful friends coming to his rescue. Joe says he is out to ensure his friends are safe. Joe says at Double or Nothing it will be a nightmare at Double or Nothing. Joe says he will give Ospreay his dream match and put him to sleep. Ospreay then says that this Sunday it is a dream come true for him…Ospreay says that he talks about his nightmare situation. He says people are calling him and telling him he has lost it after his surgery. Ospreay asks Joe if he is going to kill someone who has already died in the ring. Ospreay says this year the stakes are high. He talks about the Owen Hart Cup and challenging for the world title at All In London in his home country, which he has on his entire back. Ospreay says his nightmare died and it was at the hands of the Death Riders. Ospreay says the Death Riders rebooted him. Ospreay says on Sunday he starts his road to fulfill his dream.


Backstage: Adam Copeland, Christian Cage

We go to a vignette with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Copeland talks about how he hand Christian came together as friends and then formed a tag team. Copeland talks about for 30 years how he and Christian have come into the fans living rooms every week. Copeland says he wants the best version of FTR on Sunday and make the best FTR say, I Quit.

Christian then says FTR has made questionable choices. He says when you born you look like your family and when you die, you look like your choices.


RUSH vs. TJ Crawford

The music of Rush hits as we have a match not originally on the card. TJ Crawford is alread in the ring.

The bell rings, as Crawford goes for a handshake. Rush grabs it and then takes down Crawford. Rush slaps Crawford and then kicks him as he is in the corner. Rush runs and then connects with the running drop kick on Crawford. Rush covers Crawford for the quick win.

Winner: RUSH via Pinfall.

After the match, Rush does his cringy bull, horns promo (Can I vomit).


AEW Women’s World Championship Five-Minute Eliminator Match
Kayla Lopez & Elle Valentine vs. Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) (c)

Back from the break, the Women’s World Tag Team Champions make their way out to the ring, as Renee Paquette speaks with them.

The bell rings as the 5-minute countdown clock is on the screen. Bayne grabs Elle and pummels her in the corner. Elle tries to hit Bayne, but it has no affect on her. Bayne drags Valentine to the corner and hits her in the head. Kross is in. She hits Valentine with big elbow shots. Kross then picks up Valentine, spins her around and drops her. Kross tosses Valentine as Lopez is tagged in and met with a kick. Bayne is tagged in and connects with a big boot on Lopez. Kross is tagged in. Kross and Bayne pick up Valentine and Lopez for stereo suplexes. We then get a double chokeslam, as Kross overs Lopez for the win in under 5-minutes.

Winner: Divine Dominion via Pinfall.

The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (c)

Back from the break, the music of The Conglomeration hits, as Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong make their way out to the ring. Both men have backpacks in hand.

Next up, the music of the AEW World Tag Team Champions hit. The champs with Stokley make their way out and down to the ring.

FTR gets the jump on the challengers right before the bell. Strong sends Cash to the floor, while Cassidy rolls up Dax for a near fall. FTR are on the floor and head to the back, but Cassidy and Strong go after them. Strong chops Dax, while Orange comes off the top onto Cash. Strong and Dax are in the ring. Strong chops Dax. Strong picks up Dax and drops him on his back. Cassidy is tagged in. Cassidy takes off his elbow pad and attempts and Orange Punch on Dax, as the champs roll to the outside.

Back from the break, FTR has Strong in a headlock and then chops him. Cash is tagged in as then takes Cassidy off the apron. Both Strong and Cash run the ropes, taking each other down with double lariats. Strong is bleeding in the shin area. Cassidy is tagged in. FTR tries to double team Cassidy, but Strong comes in to even things out. Cassidy sunset flips Dax for a near fall. Dax goes to the floor. Cassidy leaps through the ropes, sending Dax into the barricade. Cash is blind tagged in. Dax takes down Orange with a spinebuster, as Cash covers him for a two count.

The ref checks on Cassidy, as we have an overrun. Cash sends Orange to the corner and then chops Cassidy, sending him down. Cash grabs Orange, with a cobra clutch. Orange breaks the hold, as Dax is quickly tagged in. Orange is on the apron, as Cash goes for Orange but crashes and burns to the floor. Dax piledrives Cassidy and covers him, but Cassidy kicks out at two.

Back from the break, Cash is tagged in. Cassidy connects with a boot in face of Cash. Strong is tagged in! Strong drops Dax with an Olympic slam. Cassidy is tagged in. Strong uses Cassidy as a weapon on Dax in the corner. Cassidy DDTs Cash and covers him for a near fall. Dax sends Strong into the ring post on the outside. Cassidy avoids a shatter machine. Cassidy makes a pin attempt on Cash, who kicks out at two. FTR mocks Cassidy. Strong comes in and kicks Cash…Dax clubs Cassidy in the jaw. Stoke is on the apron to try to distract Cassidy. He still rolls up Dax who is now legal, but Dax kicks out. Cassidy goes for an orange punch, but is dropped with a shatter machine. Dax covers Cassidy, but Strong breaks up the pin attempt. Strong and Cash spill to the outside. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets. Dax is rolled up for a near fall by Cassidy. Stoke nails Orange with the stolen watch of Christian, as the ref does not see it. Dax rolls up Orange for the win.
