As noted before, Lucha Libre AAA talent Cuatrero was arrested in March of 2023 in Mexico over charges of attempted femicide involving an alleged assault towards former CMLL and current WWE talent Stephanie Vaquer. Cuatrero was released from jail in Mexico in March of 2025. Cuatrero was found guilty of the charges against him earlier this month.
Mexican sports news outlet Record reported that Cuatrero, real name Rogelio Reyes, was sentenced earlier today to 12 years and eight months in prison over the charges against him.
It was reported that Cuatrero was given time served of two years meaning he has 10 years and eight months left to serve on his sentence. It was also reported that Cuatrero could potentially only serve around four more years if he is able to receive a sentence reduction for good behavior.
It was also reported that Vaquer’s legal team is currently considering filing an appeal for a harsher sentence for Cuatrero due to them not considering his sentence to be tough enough based on the crimes he committed.
