Fightful held a recent interview with TNA talent John Skyler. One of the topics discussed included Skyler’s thoughts about the origin of the Order 4 group name in TNA Wrestling and how he came up with the group’s name.
“I’m gonna let you get in a little inside detail. I’m gonna peel the curtain back just a little bit. I came up with the name Order 4. We were sitting there in a group chat trying to come up with a name for this stable of wrestlers and literally all it was, I was a big Four Horsemen fan growing up. Arn Anderson is like right over there and I want to go and say hello to him because he’s just my hero. Literally I took Four Horseman, New World Order and I just started like, because I’m so uncreative that I started thinking about old stables and like mixed matching names and stuff like that. I was like, ‘What about Order 4?’”
Skyler also gave his thoughts about how he has been having one of the best times of his wrestling career with the Order 4 group.
“It’s been one of the best times of my career, for sure. Especially now that we’re getting to do, like in a couple of weeks [at Final Resolution], we’re going to be wrestling the Rascalz in an eight man tag. I cannot wait for our group to wrestle their group. It’s one of those things, it’s an exciting time to be a part of TNA. It’s an exciting time to follow TNA. But yeah, I’m really excited about what we’re doing with Order 4, especially because Ali too, man, that guy is a workhorse. He’s incredible. He’s got a great mind for this business.”
Skyler also gave his praise of Tasha Steelz in Order 4.
“Tasha Steelz is one of the unsung heroes of the whole group and the locker room. Jason Hodge, obviously, me and him have become brothers. We went from literally wrestling Delirious and Yuya Uemura in a dark match to what we’re doing now. So that’s cool. Then Special Agents 0 is somebody that I have in mind. I’ve followed him his indie career too. For a big guy, he’s just incredibly, incredibly talented as well. [Tasha Steelz,] she’s the mastermind. Really it’s a great quality for a TV character. You take wrestling out of the equation, completely take pro wrestling off the board. Tasha Steelz is a great character. It doesn’t matter what kind of show it is. Tasha Steelz is a great character.”
