MJF Wins AEW World Title & Kevin Knight Turns Heel on Darby Allin at AEW Double or Nothing 2026

Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 event at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York featured MJF defeating Darby Allin in a Hair vs. Title match to become the new AEW World Champion.

This match also featured MJF’s hair being on the line for the stipulation.

Following the match, Allin was loaded onto a stretcher but before medics could take him away for medical treatment, MJF shooed them away and stood over Allin raising his newly won AEW World title in the air. This led to TNT Champion Kevin Knight running out to save Allin and chased MJF away.

As the medics wheeled Allin by, Knight hit a UFO Splash off the top rope onto Allin revealing he only came out for a ruse and his real target was Allin all along. MJF gave a shocked reaction at first before applauding Knight for his evil deed as Knight gave a menacing look to Allin’s fallen body as the show went to a close.

This was MJF’s third AEW World Championship victory in his AEW career.
