NWA Issues Official Statement on Insensitive Comments Made By Odinson

The National Wrestling Alliance issued an official statement earlier today apologizing for “intensive comments” recently made by NWA talent Odinson.

While the nature of the comments by Odison were not given, Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert reported that Odinson had posted a now deleted video on Instagram making comments that were homophobic in nature.

The Wrestling Observer’s Joseph Currier reported that a user on Reddit stated that Odinson had repeatedly used the term “gay cowboys” in reference to his opponents during his promo video.

NWA’s official statement:

“The NWA would like to sincerely apologize for the insensitive comments made by Odinson on social media. These statements do not reflect the values, views, or beliefs of the NWA organization. We do not condone hateful or offensive remarks of any kind and remain committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for everyone in our community.

Odinson is currently one half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions with JR Jratos under the tag team name of the Immortals.
