As noted before, Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Asheville, South Carolina featured AEW officially announcing the full field of competitors and brackets for this year’s Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournaments. Among those announced for the Women’s tournament included Persephone and Sareee despite both of them currently being out of action for injuries-related issues.
Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan held a media scrum earlier today to promote this Friday’s ROH Supercard of Honor 2026 event in Salisbury, Maryland. One of the topics discussed included Khan providing an update on Persephone and Sareee’s health statuses ahead of this year’s Women’s Owen Hart Cup tournament. Khan stated that he currently expected both to be back in time to wrestle. Khan also stated that Persephone and Sareee’s First Round matches will likely be taking place in this June.
