As noted before, WWE has been interested in potentially bringing back Enzo Amore, also known as Real1 and nZo in the indies, and Big Cass, also known as Big Bill in AEW, to the company and reuniting the two as a team.
Fightful Select reported that their sources close to Amore stated that some indies promoters are being told that he is not taking bookings in the future that he regularly would be taking.
It was reported that those promoters are currently operating under the assumption that Amore will be heading back to WWE and signing with the company soon.
While no details were given regarding Big Cass’ status, his contract with AEW is still set to expire in the next few weeks. Cass has been absent from AEW and Ring of Honor since this past April.
Amore and Cass previously worked as a team in WWE from 2013 to 2017.
