Original El Grande Americano & El Grande Americano Mask vs. Mask Match Contract Signing and Rey Fenix vs. Laredo Kid Match Annoucned for May 2nd AAA TV Show

WWE announced one new match and one new segment for the card of Saturday’s AAA TV show on FOX Latin America and WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a singles match of Rey Fenix vs. Laredo Kid.

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be a Mask vs. Mask match contract signing segment featuring Original El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano.

  • El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Mini Vikingo
  • Rey Fenix vs. Laredo Kid
  • Mask vs. Mask contract signing with Original El Grande Americano and El Grande Americano

Sareee Announced for Marigold Return at May 16th Marigold Shining Attack Event

Marigold recently announced that Sareee will be making a return to the company at their Shining Attack event on May 16th in Tokyo, Japan.

It was announced that Sareee will be facing off against Seri Yamaoka in a singles match at the event.

This will be Sareee’s first match in Marigold since this past October.

Friday’s premiere episode of NWA Powerrr on Comet featured Gisele Shaw defeating Tiffany Nieves to become the new NWA World Women’s Television Champion.

Friday’s CMLL x MLW show at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Templario defeating KUSHIDA to become the new MLW World Middleweight Champion.

CMLL reportedly drew an attendance of 16,000 for their April 24th Arena Mexico 70th Anniversary event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

As noted before, Nick Hogan, son of late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, stated in a recent interview with the 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast that he is currently interested in the idea of potentially pursuing a pro wrestling career in the future. Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that several wrestling schools and trainers have offered to train Hogan if he was interested in doing so for a potential future wrestling career.

Dragongate announced that Shun Skywalker recently suffered a right ankle injury and will be out of action for the foreseeable future.

Uncrowned Films recently released a new behind-the-scenes film focusing on Josh Barnett’s final Bloodsport event, Bloodsport XV, for Game Changer Wrestling at this past April’s WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada.

PROGRESS Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled Emersyn Jayne from their upcoming Women’s Super Strong Style 16 2026 tournament this weekend due to her not being medically cleared to compete. It was also announced that they will find a suitable replacement opponent for her scheduled tournament match against Kanji soon.

Stardom reportedly drew a paid attendance of 8,015 for their April 26th All Star Grand Queendom 2026 event in Yokohama, Japan, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer reported that this year’s All Star Grand Queendom’s attendance was the highest for an all-women’s wrestling event in Japan since the 1990s.

NJPW reportedly drew a paid attendance of 738 for their April 24th Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2026 event in Imabari, 2,053 for their April 25th Wrestling Red Zone 2026 event in Hiroshima, 737 for their April 26th Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2026 event in Yamaguchi, 1,048 for their April 29th Hizen no Kuni 2026 event in Saga, and 743 for their April 30th Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2026 event in Kumamoto, Japan, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In a recent interview with the Ham Radio Show, Hulk Hogan: Real American docuseries director Bryan Storkel stated that there have been no talks with Netflix to potentially produce more episodes for the docuseries in the future. Storkel stated “I wish. There is definitely more to cover. There are so many things that got cut out. We decided on four parts and we put in the best stuff or the stuff we could fit.
