WWE Backlash 2026 First Hour on ESPN2 Ratings – May 9, 2026 – Down from WrestleMania 42 Night 1

This past Saturday’s WWE Backlash 2026 first hour drew 998,000 viewers on ESPN2.

It drew a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

This was down compared to WrestleMania 42 Saturday on April 18th that drew 1,620,000 viewers and a 0.62 rating on ESPN2 for its first hour.

The streaming viewership numbers for the simulcast on ESPN Unlimited is currently not known.

This was the second WWE PLE in a row to have its first hour air live on an ESPN network, following this past April’s WrestleMania 42.
