Chelsea Green Makes Return from Heart Procedure

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina featured Chelsea Green making her return to WWE and SmackDown since undergoing a heart procedure for SVT (supraventricular tachycardia) earlier this month.

Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, & Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, & B-Fab Announced for May 23rd WWE SNME Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show on May 23rd at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

This new match announced was a Six-Woman Tag Team match of Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, & Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, & B-Fab.

This new match was setup over recent weeks shows over Flair, Bliss, and Ripley’s bad blood issues with Cargill and her buddies. Following Cargill interfering in B-Fab and Michin’s tag team match against Flair & Bliss for the disqualification result, Flair and Cargill stared down each other.

In a follow-up segment, Bliss and Flair were seen talking backstage about what has happened to them since they started helping Ripley deal with Cargill and her friends. Bliss stated she has a plan and walked away with Flair following right after.

Later in the show, it was annonced that this match was made official for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event show.

Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes for Undisputed WWE Title Set for WWE Clash In Italy

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured one new match announced for the card of Clash In Italy, which takes place on May 31st at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.

This new match announced was an Undisputed WWE Championship match of Gunther vs. Cody Rhodes (c).

This new match was setup following Gunther defeating Royce Keys in a #1 Contender match.
