Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2026 event at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts featured the announcement of Amazing Red and Konnan to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame as a member of this year’s class.
Following the Ultimate X match for the TNA X-Division Championship which was retained by Cedric Alexander, Frankie Kazarian grabbed a microphone and gave a speech praising Red and directed his and everyone’s attention to the big screen. This led to a video playing paying tribute to Red’s wrestling career and ended with the announcement of him being inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. After the video ended, Kazarian and Red hugged in the ring.

In a follow-up segment, a video aired featuring Mike Santana giving his praise of Konnan for the impact he has had on his life and wrestling career and other Latino wrestlers. Santana then officially revealed that Konnan will be inducted as a member of this year’s TNA Hall of Fame class.
