Former TNA Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling wrestler Joe Doering passed away on Friday at the age of 44.
Doering’s passing was first announced by former TNA President and current Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling owner Scott D’Amore who stated that Doering passed away peacefully this morning while surrounded by his family.
At 9:13 a.m. today, June 26, our brother Joe Doering passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.
Though his time on this earth lasted only 44 years, Joe packed a thousand years’ worth of living into every one of them.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Lindsay, his family, and leaves behind countless friends and devoted fans around the world who will forever remember his strength, courage, and spirit.
Rest in peace, Joe. You will never be forgotten.”

Prior to his passing, Doering had been battling brain cancer for the third time in his life and had recently entered hospice care.
Doering’s pro wrestling career spanned from 2004 to 2022 and was most known for his time in AJPW and Impact/TNA Wrestling. Doering also had a brief stint in WWE for their then Florida Championship Wrestling developmental system in 2010.
Doering’s notable career achievements and accolades included being a two-time AJPW Triple Crown Champion, four-time AJPW World Tag Team Champion, and two time TNA World Tag Team Champion.
