AEW announced that the AEW World Championship match of Mark Briscoe vs. MJF (c) will be opening this week’s AEW Dynamite show on July 1 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.
Briscoe earned the title shot against MJF following his team’s victory over MJF’s team in a 12-Man “Death’s Door” Steel Cage match at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 event in San Diego, California.
