AEW: Andrade El Idolo on “I Will Work For The AEW World Title As Long As Necessary”, Brian Cage on Him Being Hopeful of Getting To Participate in 2026 AEW Continental Classic, New “Death’s Door” Trademark

Andrade El Idolo Comments on “I Will Work For The AEW World Title As Long As Necessary”

The Undisputed held a recent interview with Andrade El Idolo. One of the topics discussed included Andrade’s thoughts about his current goal of wanting to win the AEW World Championship and opponents he would want to defend the title against if he wins it.

“That thought has occurred to me on many occasions, I’m looking for that championship. God knows I want it. MJF, I’m looking for an opportunity. That would be incredible. I’d be a fighting champion and defend it against Will Ospreay. I’d defend it against Kenny Omega. Hopefully it is soon, but I will work for it as long as necessary.”

Andrade also gave his thoughts about which will come first for him for his wrestling career, winning the AEW World Championship or the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in NJPW.

“Destiny always changes. I don’t have a specific answer. I will be the champion in New Japan, and the AEW title, that’s my goal. I keep training and preparing, when my opportunity arrives, I will be ready.”

Brian Cage Comments on Him Being Hopeful of Getting To Participate in 2026 AEW Continental Classic

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Brian Cage as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cage’s thoughts about him being hopeful of getting to compete in this year’s AEW Continental Classic tournament for one of his goals for his AEW career by the end of this year.

“Oh, of course. I guess even then, well, we have so many titles there. I mean, I’ll take whatever I can get. What I do really want to be part of this year, for sure, is the Continental Classic. Obviously, that’s not until the end of the year, but that’s something I definitely want to. I would love to build up enough repertoire to have an awesome Continental Classic run by the end of the year.”
