Paul Wight Fills In For Nigel McGuinness on AEW Commentary

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured Paul Wight making a surprise appearance on AEW commentary.

Wight filled in for Nigel McGuinees for the commentary team on the show.

The Young Bucks vs. Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay Set for AEW Redemption

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of Redemption.

This new match announced was a tag team match of The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Will Ospreay).

This new match was setup following a video promo involving The Young Bucks stating their issues with the Death Riders and Ospreay and challenged both Moxley and Ospreay to a tag team match at Redemption.

In a follow-up segment, Ospreay and Moxley were seen backstage and responded to the Young Bucks comments and accepted the challenge for the tag team match at Redemption.

It was announced afterwards that the match was made official for Redemption.

Tommaso Ciampa Issues No Holds Barred Stip for Match Against Jericho at Redemption

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured one newly updated match for the card of Redemption, which takes place on July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This newly updated match is a No Holds Barred match of “Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa.

This newly updated match was setup following Ciampa defeating Myron Reed in a singles match. Following the match, Ciampa confronted Paul Wight at the AEW commentary table and gave a message for Jericho stating that he wants their match at Redemption to be a No Holds Barred match.

Later in the show, it was announced that the new stipulation was made official for Ciampa’s match at Redemption.

Maya World vs. Hikaru Shida for TBS Title Set for AEW Redemption

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of Redemption, which takes place on July 26 a the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This new match announced was a TBS Championship match of Maya World vs. Hikaru Shida (c).
