Harley Cameron Announced To Be Out Indefinitely with “Injury”

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the MGM Music Hall At Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts featured the announcement of Harley Cameron currently being out of action indefinably due to the “injuries” she suffered from her match against Hikrau Shida for the TBS Championship at this past Saturday’s AEW Collision show.

It is currently not known if Cameron’s injuries are legitimate or just for storyline purposes.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Mark Davis for AEW National Title Announced for AEW Redemption

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the first of four new matches announced for the card of Redemption.

This new match announced was an AEW National Championship match of Andrade El Idolo vs. Mark Davis.

This new match was setup following Andrade defeating Jake Doyle to earn a promised shot by Don Callis at Davis’ AEW National title.

Kevin Knight vs. Kenny Omega for AEW World Title Announced for AEW Redemption

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the second of four new matches announced for the card of Redemption.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship match of “The Jet” Kevin Knight of Kenny Omega (c).

This new match was setup following an in-ring promo segment between Will Ospreay, Omega, and Knight that turned into a brawl after Darby Allin, Don Callis Family, and the Death Riders got involved.

In a follow-up segment, this match was made official for the show.

“Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa Announced for AEW Redemption

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the third of four new matches announced for the card of Redemption.

This new match announced was a singles match of “Painmaker” Chris Jericho vs. Tommaso Ciampa.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Ciampa and Jericho’s bad blood issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Jericho was seen backstage talking about his recent issues with Ciampa and telling Ciampa that things between the two are not over after last week’s Beach Break show. Jericho then issued a challenge to Ciampa for Redemption and told him that he will bring the pain. Jericho then looked at the camera revealing him dressed as his “Painmaker” persona. In a follow-up segment, Ciampa was seen backstage and responded to Jericho accepting his challenge for the match.

Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for Redemption.

Bandido vs. Kyle Fletcher for AEW International Title Announced for AEW Redemption

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the fourth of four new matches announced for the card of Redemption, which takes place on July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This new match announced was an AEW International Championship match of Bandido vs. Kyle Fletcher (c).

During the show, Fletcher was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette only for him to get quickly interrupted by a joyful Brodido celebrating their tag team match victory earlier in the show. Bandido handed Fletcher a “Most Wanted” poster teasing him wanting a shot at Fletcher’s title before him and King left. This led to an upset reaction by Fletcher over what had just happened.

In a follow-up segment, Fletcher defeated Komander to retain his AEW International title which led to a post-match brawl breaking out involving Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, and Brodido.

In another follow-up segment, a very angry Fletcher was seen backstage with Okada and talked about Brodido’s actions earlier in the show and the “Most Wanted” poster from Bandido. Fletcher responded challenging Bandido for Redemption and would be putting his AEW International title on the line since he wanted revenge for the disrespect shown towards him.

Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for Redemption.
