Will Ospreay Joins The Death Riders

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California featured Jon Moxley offering official membership in the Death Riders to Will Ospreay.

During the show, a video aired featuring Renee Paquette interviewing Ospreay backstage after his Men’s Owen Hart Cup tournament victory at Forbidden Door 2026. This led to Moxley showing up and after some words, he handed Ospreay a Death Rider patch telling him that if he takes it, he can ride with him anywhere he wants. Moxley then handed the patch to Ospreay and walked away as Ospreay looked on it for some time before he also walked away and stopped when he saw Kenny Omega. Omega and Ospreay had a talk between the two that was interrupted by AEW World Champion MJF. After some banter by Omega about how MJF has to watch out for Ospreay knocking on the door for his title, MJF went up to Ospreay and told him that he will see him at Wembley before walking away.

In a follow-up, Ospreay was seen wearing the Death Riders pants on his pants confirming his membership in the group when he came out and competed with Moxley for their tag team match against The Swirl’s Blake Christian & Lee Johnson.
