Kenny Omega Reflects on His AEW World Title Win

As noted before, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Beach Break 2026 show in Clearwater, Florida featured Kenny Omega defeating MJF to become the new AEW World Champion. This match featured the stipulation of if Omega lost, then he would never be allowed to challenge for the AEW World title again in his AEW career.

Omega recently reflected on Twitter about his AEW World Championship victory and winning the title for the second time in his AEW career.

Jeff Jarrett Comments on “Creative Plans Changed” In Regards To His Retirement Run in 2025 Being Dropped

A recent Reddit Q&A session featured Jeff Jarrett as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jarrett’s thoughts about the reason why his retirement run in AEW in 2025 was abruptly dropped.

Jarrett last wrestled on the January 29, 2025 episode of AEW Dynamite and had announced that same month he had re-signed with AEW and was going on one last run in his lengthy wrestling career.

A recent episode of the My World with Jeff Jarrett podcast featured Karen Jarrett as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Karen’s thoughts about working for AEW CEO Tony Khan and the difference between Khan and working for Dixie Carter during her time in TNA Wrestling.

“That man gets so much shit online that he does not deserve. He is one of the kindest human beings that I’ve met. I can say this, since we’re on the subject of these two people, where Dixie wouldn’t compensate talent or female wrestlers, Tony Khan goes above and beyond to compensate his wrestlers and the people that work for him. Maybe sometimes too much, but he takes care of the people who work for him no matter what level you’re on.”
