Backstage Update on Bryan Danielson’s AEW Career Status

Bryan Danielson has been retried from his full-time in-ring wrestling career since his loss to Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at AEW WrestleDream 2024 in October of 2024. Besides making several in-ring appearances, Danielson has also worked in AEW commentary for shows on an infrequent basis since then.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated that Danielson is still with AEW and he still contributes creatively in the company.

Sapp reported that the reason for the lack of frequent appearances by Danielson on AEW shows is due to travel could be tough on him physically.

Sapp also reported that it is not known if Brie Bella being on the road for WWE since her return to that company had adjusted things for him in terms of his schedule but that would make a lot of sense if it was the case.
