Big Bill’s Expiring AEW Contract Update – Big Bill Removed from AEW Roster Page Ahead of WWE Return

As noted before, Big Bill’s contract with AEW was set to expire in early July and had given his notice of his intent to leave the company. WWE has been interested in bringing back both him and Enzo Amore, also known as nZo and Real1 in the indies. Monday’s WWE RAW show in Dallas, Texas featured a vignette hyping up Bill’s upcoming return to WWE for the August 3rd WWE RAW show.

AEW removed Big Bill’s profile from their roster page on their official website earlier today. This is usually an indication that a wrestler is no longer under contract with the company.

Prior to his departure, Big Bill had been with AEW since May of 2022 and had also been working for ROH since June of 2023.
