A recent episode of The Sal Licata Show podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bella’s thoughts about her husband and AEW official and commentator Bryan Danielson’s being very supportive of her return to the ring in WWE and the status of his own in-ring career future.
“For me, I’m lucky because my husband is so supportive. Because he retired from in-ring, it gave me the opportunity to come back. When I started to realize his schedule, I was like, ‘I really want to make a comeback. I want you to be my coach. I really want to train hard, it’s going to be a lot of work, but will you be able to deal with the schedule?’ He was like, ‘Yes, 100%.’ So, I honestly couldn’t do it without him. I feel so blessed.”
Bella also gave her thoughts about Danielson becoming a “Pinterest dad” with how he has been managing the household taking care of their kids while she is away working for WWE.
“He’s been picking up all those times when it was just the kids and I, you know?. It’s funny because I’m like, ‘’You’re like Pinterest dad.’ He’s crushing it. The homemade meals, the fun snacks, the arts and crafts. He’s doing a great job. But honestly, I couldn’t do it without his support because he allows me to come out here and do what I love.”
Dnaielson has been retired from his full-time in-ring career since AEW WrestleDream 2024 in October of 2024 but has made several in-ring appearances since then.
