Britt Baker Participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in Support of Rebel

As noted before, Rebel, real name Tanea Brooks, was diagnosed with terminal ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) this past May. During this past May’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026 post-show media scrum, AEW CEO Tony Khan had stated that he wanted to work with the ALS Foundation for a Fight For The Fallen special to benefit people dealing with ALS and its treatment in honor of Rebel. AEW released special “Rebel Heart” merchandise with 100% of the profits going to support those affected by ALS. Rebel announced this past June that she has become an ambassador for the I AM ALS organization.

AEW and ROH talent and AEW extra coordinator Capt. Shawn Dean released a video earlier this month of him participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Rebel. In the video, Dean nominated Britt Baker, Carlie Bravo, and The Gunns to take part in the challenge.

Baker posted a video earlier today on Twitter featuring her and Gail Kim being with Rebel in a back yard.

In the video, Baker accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and Kim showed up handing the bucket to Rebel who poured it over Baker’s head.

Baker then nominate Chris Jericho, Renee Paquette, The Young Bucks, Adam Cole, Kris Statlander, Orange Cassidy, and Thunder Rosa to take part in the challenge in support of Rebel.
